Rule 128
Finance Bill returned by the National Assembly with suggestions
(1) If the Finance Bill passed by the Assembly and sent to the National Assembly is received back from the Assembly with suggestions, the Secretary shall table it in the Assembly as soon as possible and distribute one copy thereof to the members.
(2) After distributing the copy of the message in accordance with sub-rule (1), the Minister of Finance shall, with the permission of the Speaker, present a proposal to consider the message with the said suggestion.
(3) In accordance with sub-rule (2), the Speaker may adopt the procedure he deems appropriate while discussing and deciding on the suggestions of the National Assembly.
(4) The Speaker of the House shall submit the proposal to the President for approval and shall inform the National Assembly of the suggestions deemed reasonable for inclusion by the decision of the House.
